SPRINGFIELD - June K. Aumand, 87, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.

She was born Dec. 4, 1924, in Springfield, the daughter of Walter and Amelia (Lohutko) Kulwanoski.

She graduated in 1942 from Springfield High School and worked for a short time at Fellows Gear Shaper in Springfield.

On Oct. 15, 1955, she married Francis G. "Frenchy" Aumand in Springfield. He died in 2002.

Mrs. Aumand was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Springfield and the Catholic Daughters of America.

She enjoyed bowling and belonged to leagues at Park Street Bowl. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Survivors include six children, Robert, Kenneth, both of Springfield, Thomas of Dover, N.H., Elaine Francis of Bellows Falls, MaryAnn Aumand of South Bend, Ind., and Linda Milano of Dumbarton, N.H.; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sister, Rena Bradley.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Springfield, with the Rev. Peter Williams, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Springfield.
