Keith William Armstrong, 57, of Rutland died unexpectedly Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 9, 1955, in Manhattan, N.Y., the son of Robert and Mary (Belinsky) Armstrong.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving for more than 12 years.

He was employed as a small engine mechanic at G.T. Power and Russell Co.

He was a member of the American Legion Post #31 of Rutland.

He enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn Marie (Jankowski) Armstrong of Brandon; a son Jarrod Armstrong of Rutland; a daughter Aubrey Armstrong of Brandon; a brother Robert Armstrong of South Carolina; three sisters, Barbara Maisano of Long Island, N.Y., Marie Armstrong of Lodi, N.J., and Cathy Armstrong of Colchester; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, a brother Kenneth Armstrong, and a sister Kathleen Armstrong.

Graveside services will be held at a later date at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph.

Arrangements are under the direction of Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland.
