WHITING - Pamela M. Sheldrick, 55, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 29, 1958, in Rutland, the daughter of William E. and Mary S. (Archambeault) Sheldrick, Sr.

She was employed by the Shoreham Co-op for more than 20 years, the Whiting Country Store, and Vermont Tubbs of Brandon.

She had lived in Whiting since 1994.

Survivors include her husband, Gene R. Jones of Whiting; four daughters, Sophronia M. Jameson of Canaan, N.H., Sarah A. Washburn of Orwell, Emily J. Washburn of Sudbury, and Amanda J. Washburn of Castleton; five grandchildren; her father, William E. Sheldrick, Sr. of Salisbury; four brothers, William Sheldrick of Bridport, John Sheldrick of Richfield Springs, N.Y., David Sheldrick of Shoreham, and Chris Sheldrick of West Haven; two sisters, Patricia Townsend of Columbus, N.Y., and Mary Jo Pinson of Fallbrook, Calif.; five half-brothers, Eric Sheldrick of Shoreham, Isaac Sheldrick of Brandon, George Sheldrick, Matthew Sheldrick, and Eugene Sheldrick, all of Salisbury. She was predeceased by her mother.

At her request, there will be a private graveside service conducted in the spring at Whiting Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. A gathering for family and friends will take place Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the West Haven Grange Hall.
