SILVER CITY, N.M. - Pamela Wetmore Combes, 50, of Silver City, New Mexico, died November 5, 2012, in Albuquerque, N.M.

She was born February 3, 1962, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Dr. Richard Willard and Angela (Wright) Combes and the granddaughter of Willard W. Combes, artist.
Pam graduated from Northfield-Mount Hermon School in Northfield, MA, and received her degree in archaeology from the University of New Mexico.
She lived in and loved the southwest, especially the artist colony of Silver City, N.M. An accomplished artist, her oil paintings were displayed in the spring of 2012, at a gallery in New Mexico.
Survivors include her mother of Rutland Town, VT; her beloved life partner, Philip Kircher of N.M.; her siblings, Carol Lanier of Rutland Town, VT, Holly Dorst of Laramie, WY, and Willard Wright Combes of Chargrin Falls, OH; four nieces; one nephew; and her uncles and aunts, Chip and Kay Wright of Danby, VT, and Pam and Dale Inkley of Cleveland, OH.
The memorial service will be held Sunday, November 11, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. in the Grace Congregational United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Tracy Fye Weatherhogg, associate minister, officiating.
