BENNINGTON - Phyllis R. Livingston, 81, died May 21, 2012, at Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington, following a brief illness.

She was born in Sunderland, April 1, 1931, the daughter of Harry and Ruth (Johnson) Gaudette.
She graduated from Bennington High School.
In Bennington, Mrs. Livingston was employed in earlier years at BenMont Paper and retired after over 35 years at Bijur.
She enjoyed reading and jigsaw puzzles.
Survivors include two sons, Ernest "Chip" Livingston Jr. of Shaftsbury and Terry Livingston of Bennington; a granddaughter and three great-grandchildren; four siblings, Yvonne Carsno, Marvin Lampron, both of Bennington, Janet Clayton, Victor Lampron, both of West Arlington; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest J. Livingston Sr., in 1987; her stepfather, Joseph Lampron; three siblings, Edward and Richard Gaudette and Alice Duncan.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 24, at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Pownal.
