Ralph W. Nutter, 81, died Jan. 26, 2013, at Mountain View Center.

He was born in Rutland, Feb. 16, 1931, son of Roy and Valeria (Seward) Nutter.

Ralph was raised by his aunt and uncle, Laura and Charlie Seward.

Ralph was a graduate of Rutland High School.

He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran.

He was employed by Fassett's Bakery and Freihofer's Bakery.

Ralph was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous.

He enjoyed NASCAR racing, especially Tony Stewart.

Surviving are two daughters, Lorraine Marcille and her companion Gary Estes of Pulaski, N.Y., Karen Robinson and her husband Larry of Ocala, Fla.; two grandchildren, Scott Marcille of Castleton and Jennifer Marcille of Hampton, N.Y.; nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, in Fair Haven Congregational Church, where a calling hour begins at 3 p.m. prior to the service.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Clifford Funeral Home.
