Ronald T. Nagy, 80, of Rutland, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2018, at Mountain View Center.
He was born in Rutland, May 21, 1938, the son of Dennis Nagy and Helen (Douglass) Aines.
Ron was a graduate of Mount St. Joseph Academy and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
He enjoyed his horses and harness racing at Saratoga.
Mr. Nagy was employed for many years as a Berkshire armored car driver.
Surviving are his daughter, Deborah McGinnis, of Mount Holly; a brother, Douglas Nagy, of North Clarendon; two sisters Joanne Munroe, of NC, and Janet Miller, of Rutland; one granddaughter, Samantha, and two great-grandsons Carson and Mason; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son, Glen Nagy.
At his request, there are no funeral services planned at this time.
Graveside services will be held at a later date in Pine Hill Cemetery in Brandon.
Arrangements are under the direction of Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland.
