In the late 60's, Mr. Parteidge hired me as a young man to a position as District Scout Executive with the Green Mt. Council, Boy Scouts of America, Taconic District. It was a most memorable time of my life and I will never forget the advice and stories that Mr. Partridge passed on to me as we traveled the roads of Souther Vermont engaged in Scouting activities. Thank you Sandy for those wonderful years.
