FAIR HAVEN - Theodocia "Teddy" Lucretia Jones, 93, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at her home after a period of failing health.

She was born July 6, 1919, in Hudson Falls, N.Y., the daughter of the late Eslie and Harriet (Cobb) Jones.
She worked since the age of 8, first picking berries and selling them door-to-door, then skidding logs with her father in Barnard and Perkinsville, then working at the Springfield woolen mill, Slack Shoddy Mill and the Snow White laundry in Springfield.
When her family moved to Castleton in 1966, she worked for Foley Laundry Services, retiring in 2002.
She enjoyed candy making, crafts, quilting, sewing, horses and telling family history.
Survivors include a sister, Laura Barnes of Windsor, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Luthera Jones, and a brother, Theodore Jones.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 637 North Shrewsbury Road, Clarendon. President Tom Sawyer, a member of the Montpelier, Vermont Stake Presidency, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will officiate.
Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
