On August 19, 2014, Frances passed peacefully while at Mountain View Genesis.

Frances was born in Center Rutland on April 13, 1922, the daughter of Adeline and William (Wegrzyn) Blatt.

She was a graduate of Poultney High School and Rutland Hospital School of Nursing.

She married James Mainolfi November 30, 1946. They worked together at the family owned business, Mainolfi Bakery, until retirement in 1978.

Frances enjoyed friends, family and her skill of painting greeting cards for every occasion.

She is predeceased by her husband, James, and sister Mary Blatt.

She is survived by her daughters: Joan and her husband, Ernie Sule, and their children Stephanie Sule and Karen Gallipo and husband, Rodney, and their children Anna & Ryan; Patricia and her husband, Charles Popovitch Jr., and their children Paul and his wife, Beverly Popovitch, Megan and her husband, Travis Holland. A sister Vida Taylor and her family of Odessa Texas, several nieces, nephews and neighbors all of whom were very special to her.

There are no visiting hours.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Christ the King Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Justin Baker, pastor.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery

Arrangements are under the direction of Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland.
