PROCTORSVILLE - Kenneth C. Tyrrell Sr., 88, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
He was born March 19, 1930, in Danby, the son of Llewellyn and Nora (Nichols) Tyrrell.
He married Chee-Chee Goddard Feb. 22, 1975, in Ludlow.
Mr. Tyrrell worked on the family farm as a young man, was a logger in the area and employed as a tinsmith at Parks & Woolson Machine Tool Co. in Springfield for 33 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking, especially building furniture, picture frames and cabinets.
Survivors include his wife, nine children, 38 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, in Hillcrest Cemetery in Proctorsville, followed by a reception at Proctorsville Fire Station Hall.
Arrangements are by Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield.
