WHITE CREEK, N.Y. - Janet (Cross) Wolfrum Tollisen, 72, died Feb. 13, 2012, at Bennington (Vt.) Health & Rehabilitation Center, following a long illness.

Born in Bennington Oct. 23, 1939, she was the daughter of Joseph M. and Anna (Cornell) Cross, and received her education locally.
In earlier years, she was a cook at Prospect Nursing Home and at Putnam Memorial Hospital cafeteria. In summer, she made bread and muffins to sell at Wolfrum Vegetable Stand in Eagle Bridge.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and crafts.
Survivors include two sons, Monty Wolfrum of Eagle Bridge and Richard Wolfrum of Walloomsac; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mildred Pierce, Jo-Ann Browe, Dale Crawford of Bennington and Lillian Eldred of Potter Hill; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Wolfrum Jr.
The funeral will begin with a prayer at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home, followed by Mass at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in North Bennington.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, and from 9:15 a.m. prior to the prayer service Thursday, at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Center Shaftsbury (Vt.) Cemetery.
