WASILLA, Alaska - Nomalita C. "Noma" (Hall) Poole, 79, died July 23, 2012, at her home, due to cancer.
She was born March 19, 1933, in Rutland, Vt., the daughter of George G. and Myra Hall.
She was a manager and partnered with her husband in running Chalet Homes, a construction company based in Wasilla.
Mrs. Poole enjoyed knitting, landscaping, staining glass, pin cushion dolls, ceramics, and collected antique rolling pins.
Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Poole of Wasilla; a brother, Merrill "Buddy" Hall of Granite City, Ill.; two sons, Tracy Poole of Wasilla and David Poole of Willow; a daughter, Roilean Rummel of Quincy, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Evelyn Tidd and Billie Irwin, and a brother, Dana Hall.
The celebration of life ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, at 9475 East Colony Schools Drive in Wasilla, with Bishop Terry Richardson officiating. Her ashes will be scattered at a private ceremony Sunday, July 29, at Wasilla Lake.
