E. Jane Alderman, 94, of Rutland passed away peacefully May 25, 2013, at The MeadowsNursing Facility.

She was born in 1919 in Central Pennsylvania, and grew up in Endicott, New York, where she married her late husband of 60 years, Paul Alderman.
They moved to Rome, New York, in 1954 where she worked and retired from Griffiss Air Force Base in the accounting department.
In the 1990's they moved to Rutland, VT, where they were residents at Heritage Hill.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
She leaves behind a son, Philip Alderman and his wife Peggy, of North Clarendon; a daughter Janet Janchewski and her husband Louis of Chattanooga, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
There are no visiting hours.
Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland.
