BONISLAWSKI, Dorothy J.
Age 88, passed away peacefully at her home in Citrus Heights on October 30, 2012. Dorothy was born in her family's home in Winton, California, in 1924. She spent her early years living the life of a professional baseball player's wife. She settled in Los Angeles during the 40s and 50s. She moved to the Sacramento area in 1961. She was devoted to her faith and St. George's Episcopal Church in Carmichael, CA. Dorothy was a layout artist for a number of local newspapers in the Sacramento area for over 20 years. After her first husband's passing, Dorothy married Joe, who was her constant companion and with whom she enjoyed traveling and frequent family events. She has two sons and a large extended family whom she adored. Besides being a talented artist, she was an amazing cook who loved to bake. She loved the simple pleasures in life such as long walks on the beach, rides in the country and watching beautiful sunsets. She was much loved and will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her brother Ray and sister Iris, two sons Ron and Brad and his wife Bev, 2 grandchildren: Pete and Rosie, many nieces and nephews and Bonislawski children. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 10 AM on Thurs., Nov. 7th at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel (7101 Verner Ave., Sac.). PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (725-2109), directors.
