A Memorial Graveside Service will be held in the Gridley Biggs Cemetery, 2023 Hwy 99, Gridley CA, on Thursday, April 24, 2014 3:00 pm for Richard A. Frank 68, of Gridley. He passed away on April 15, 2014 in Placerville, CA.
He was born on July 3, 1945 in Pontiac, MI to Olaf and Audrey Frank. He was a longtime resident of Gridley, having worked in the Auto Repair business for years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and bowling. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Vietnam. He was a member of the VFW Gridley Post.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 13 yrs., Ilene Frank of Gridley; one sister, Carole (Ray) Beckett of Placerville; two grandchildren; his best friend, Nick Koshell of Granite Bay, CA, and many fishing and bowling buddies.
Inurnment will be held at the Gridley Biggs Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Gridley Block Funeral Chapel.

I worked with Richard in the early '70's at J.C. Penney's. Saw Richard in the 90's in Gridley at Paradise Grill for breakfast after the Gold Cup in Chico. Hadn't seen him for several years. Was glad to have known him as my friend.....
