Jack Barton passed away on January 31, 2013 in Roseville, Ca. He was born in Bandon, Oregon on September 30, 1932. His parents were Daisy Mitts Barton and Jack Barton. He was the loving husband of Ruth Barton and beloved step father of Alisa Ferrante devoted grandfather to Halie Lauren Ferrante. He is also survived by a son Jack K. Barton, two granddaughters Jessica and Jackie of Oregon. Jack passed away peacefully at Kaiser Hospital surrounded by loved ones. He will be missed by his many friends and extended family and remembered as a member of several square dance clubs. He worked in the lumber industry as a young man and later at a produce company. At the Flower Bucket, in Reno, he served as a buyer and an officer for the company. For many years he owned and operated his own shop in Woodland. Jack loved to travel and enjoyed many rv trips as well as cruises to Alaska, Hawaii and the Mexican Riviera. The family will hold a memorial to celebrate his life next month.
