Baker, Louis O. - Sacramento  
Louis O. Baker was born in Sacramento, California on September 16, 1919. He graduated from Sacramento High School and worked with the Civilian Conservation Corps until he enlisted in the U.S. Navy in the spring of 1941. On December 7, 1941, Lou was stationed at Kaneohe Bay Naval Air Station on Oahu when the Japanese attacked. He survived the Pearl Harbor attack and served in the Pacific theater during the entire war until he was honorably discharged in 1947. Lou retired from Caltrans after being employed in the Bridge Department for close to 30 years. Lou was an accomplished artist and won many awards over the years for his work in watercolors. Lou was married to his wife Theda for 64 years before her death in 2010. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and a great friend to those who knew him. He is survived by daughter Debbie Nudo and son Bill Baker along with four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held July 28, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the Creekside Christian Church located at 8939 East Stockton Boulevard, Elk Grove, California.

Brennan, Ann C. - Sacramento  
Ann C. Brennan passed away July 12th, 2016 at the age of 81. Ann was born November 13, 1934 in Pasadena CA. She is survived by her 4 children Mary Wilson (Kevin), Jeanne Brennan, Eileen Mayfield (Ron), Paul Brennan (Kelly) and brother James Ruddick (Julia). She was also blessed with seven grandchildren and seven great -grandchildren. Ann was known for her adventurous road trip spirit, her nurturing nature and her witty comments and sense of humor that kept us all laughing. We rejoice in knowing she is at peace with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A Memorial Mass and a Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016, 11:00AM Saint Ignatius Loyola Parish, 3235 Arden Way, Sacramento, CA 95825.
