Age 98 of Sacramento/Madera, CA, passed away on August 29, 2015, surrounded by family. Her grace, strength and unwavering love for her family and friends will continue to transcend the lives who were fortunate to know her. She will be greatly missed. Viewing will take place Thursday, September 3 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm followed by a memorial service on Friday, September 4, 11:00 am, located at Jay Chapel, 1121 Roberts Ave., Madera, CA 93637. All are welcome.

A loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She leaves to cherish her memory: 3 children, 2 sisters, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Friends are welcome for visitation Wed., Sept. 2, 2015, 4pm-7pm at Morgan Jones Chapel of Chimes, 4200 Broadway, and to a Celebration of Life on Thurs., Sept. 3, 2015, 10am, at Williams Memorial COGIC, 4495 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Interment: Sacramento Valley National.

Eeds, Charlotte Jean - Contra Costa  
Aug. 8, 1925 - Aug. 10, 2015 Charlotte passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 10, 2015, two days after celebrating her 90th birthday with family. Born in Weleetka, OK to loving parents, John and Mary Thomas. In 1943 she met and married the love of her life, James (Jack) Eeds. Charlotte and Jack moved to Pinole, CA in 1956 where they raised their family and made many wonderful life-long friends. In 1995 Charlotte and Jack retired and relocated to Roseville, CA where the eternally gregarious and generous Charlotte became a volunteer for the Newcomers Club, Cancer Society, and Meals-on-Wheels. Charlotte had a successful 30+ year career as a Manager for the Metro 1 (Travis) Credit Union. Her hobbies included spending time with family, playing bridge, and global travelling with Jack. And of course, her beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Sadie, who was her constant companion for the last 16 years. Charlotte is survived by her sister Pat Schweer of Edmond, OK; her children-Dan Eeds (Paula), Pinole; Pamela Nolt (Dale), Roseville; and Jon Eeds (Karen), Eugene, OR; grandchildren, Angela & Alison Eeds (David); Devin Casparis (Trent), Morgan & Connor Crocco (Talia); Nathaniel, Simon, & Sean Eeds; and 4 great-grandchildren. Charlotte is predeceased by her parents, her husband of 61 years, and sister Marguerite Stephenson of Tulsa, OK. A private celebration of her life was held on August 23, 2015.
