JACK, Barbara "Bobbie"  
JACK, Barbara "Bobbie" Barbara "Bobbie" Jack, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on March 20th. She was born May 12th, 1926 in San Francisco, CA to Douglas and Catherine Tait. Bobbie grew up in San Francisco, and later moved to Sacramento where she attended Sacramento High School and met her future husband, Gordon. She attended Cal Berkeley, made many lifelong friends and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She and Gordon were married in 1948 and raised their two children in Carmichael, CA. Always active, she enjoyed snow and waterskiing, tennis and camping. She loved spending her summers in Glenbrook, Lake Tahoe, as well as traveling extensively with family and friends. She was a volunteer with the Sacramento Junior League and the Sacramento Children's Receiving Home. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Gordon, her two children, Douglas (Sue) and Lindy (Bill) Richardson, and her two grandchildren, Jamie and Sarah Jack. She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Taylor. A Celebration of Life will be held on April 1st, 2015 at Del Paso Country Club at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sacramento SPCA and the Guide Dogs for the Blind.

JACKSON, Oleta Greenman "Lee"  
JACKSON, Oleta ''Lee'' Greenman Oleta (Lee) Greenman Jackson of El Dorado Hills, CA passed away March 17, 2015. Lee was born Dec. 20, 1925 in Wilson, Oklahoma to Claude and Iva Baucom. She had a successful career with Pacific States Real Estate in El Dorado Hills until her retirement in 1994. Lee enjoyed a close relationship with her family and friends. She loved to play bridge, read, travel and socialize. She enjoyed object of beauty and she created many lovely watercolor and oil paintings. She is survived by her daughters Katherine O'Dea of the home, Lynn Garofolo (Rich), of Edmond, OK and son John Robert (Rob) McMillan of Placerville, CA, 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sisters Bea Aday and Betty Volway and brother Bill Baucom. Lee was a very generous mother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her. Remembrances may be made to your favorite charity.

Jarrell, Margaret Peg L.  
JARRELL, Margaret ''Peg'' L. Margaret ''Peg'' L. Jarrell died February 28, 2015. She enjoyed playing the organ, attending plays and musicals and traveling. She was a graduate of Grant Union High School, a member of Eastern Star and the first woman manager at Golden One Credit Union. She joined Golden One March 1, 1961 and retired August 31, 1982. Peg is survived by her daughter Cass Jarrell Hershey and son-in-law Scott Hershey. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimers Association.

JENNINGS, Alfred Tyrone  
JENNINGS, Alfred Tyrone Al Jennings is gone. One of life's truly "good guys", Alfred Tyrone Jennings, passed away peacefully in his sleep in Sacramento, CA on March 4. His wife Beth (the former Elizabeth Ann Harrington), who preceded him in death, passed away in 1997. Al met Beth when she was a young widow with four small children. After they married in 1956 he adopted the children whose birth father, William Lawrence, died in an automobile accident, and Al raised them as his own. Also preceding him in death was his son, David Henry Jennings, his grandson Corey Jennings, and an infant daughter, Dorrie Jennings. He leaves behind his daughter Linda Wheeler and son Rick Jennings, both of Fair Oaks and son Bill Jennings of Hermiston, Oregon, as well as nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Al was born in Birmingham, Alabama. in 1929 to Edgar Hooper Jennings and Carrie Belle Jennings. His parents and his sister Libby preceded him in death. Al was raised in Birmingham but after serving in the Air Force he stayed in California to work in the aero space industry. When Al retired from Aerojet General he went into the food service business, managing several Sambo's restaurants before opening his own restaurant, The Whistle Stop Cafe, in Old Sacramento. Al loved to play golf, fish, dance, and spend time with his kids. He was a former member of Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church and the Buccaneers Mariner Ship and was a member of the Elks Club. He will be greatly missed. Services will be held Friday, March 27 at 11:00am in Wells Chapel of Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church at 11427 Fair Oaks Blvd. followed by a reception in the church Family Life Center. Private burial service will follow. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Heart Association.

JURCAK, John Alan "Jack"  
JURCAK, John Alan "Jack" Passed away suddenly on February 28, 2015. Jack, a one time resident of the Sacramento area, was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 16, 1945 and graduated from Lakeview Senior High School in Detroit. Jack attended several different colleges over the years, served in the military for nearly 10 years, sold some cars and motorcycles along the way, and started his career with the California Department of Corrections in 1979 at the Correctional Training Facility in Soledad, California. Jack was known during his career as the "silver fox" and the "teen angel" because of his forever youthful appearance. Jack retired as a Captain in 2000. Jack and his wife, Carol relocated to Corpus Christi, Texas in 2006 and traveled the country in a motorhome, coast to coast with a few pit stops in between. During their travels Jack and Carol fell in love with northern Mississippi, settling in Olive Branch, Mississippi in 2012. Jack closely followed the careers of his very gifted sons, Jason, a musician in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Jared, a photographer, in Fresno, California. Jack is survived by his wife Carol; sons Jason Jurcak (Tatiana) and Jared Jurcak (Abigail); sister Shirley Zuelch (Ken); brother Thomas Jurcak; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Gail and Chris Thompson, niece Taylor Thompson; mother-in-law, Eleanor Pingree; nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends especially "Zap. Jack loved his family and friends, loved his country, was a true patriot, and loved his four legged son "Murphy". Jack was truly one of the good guys and he will be greatly missed.
