Cal was a fellow guardmember and a great friend. He always had a great smile and good word for everyone. I never met anyone who loved to dance as much as he did. Cal, you will be missed.

I have such wonderful memories of time spent with Uncle Calvin - his cannonballing into the swimming pool and splashing us kids at his annual 4th of July party, fearlesly cutting a rug on the dance floor at family weddings, and always laughing making you feel glad to be sharing time with him. I always felt he had a lively spirit and imagine he's now smiling down on us while doing The Twist on a dance floor above. He will be missed.

Uncle Calvin, you will be missed! Thank you for a lifetime of wonderful memories and for always making me and everyone else you knew feel welcome in your home and special in you life. I don't know anyone who has done this better than you. I will always remember that along with your smile, your laugh and your open arms waiting to be filled by a hug.

I was so sorry to hear about Cal's death. I worked with him for several years at the 162nd. I always remember his smile and laughter. He will be missed by all that knew him. My thoughts are with the family at this time.
