Dora PINA Obituary
Of Elk Grove, passed away September 25, 2010, aged 81. Loving wife of the late Raymond George Pina. Beloved mother of George Pina and wife, Josefina, Elizabeth Loya of Elk Grove and Alex Pina, Sandra Corti and husband, Jack, of Sacramento. Devoted grandmother to Fernando, Lorenzo, Elena, Ivan, George and Elizabeth. Beloved sister of Gloria and the late Pete Gonsalves of Sacramento, Margarita and Alfonso Enciso and the late Olga Flores of Mexico, Alfonsina and the late Francisco Flores of West Sacramento. Also sister-in-law Ida King and her husband, Larry, of West Sacramento. Preceded in death by Josephine Andrea and husband Tony; Laura Schultz husband Bob; Mary Barrows and husband George; Mimie Silva and husband Fred; John Pina and wife Margaret; Annie Goncalves and husband Lawrence; Lucy Pomales and husband Tommy. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A native of Sacramento for 61 years. Born and raised in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico for 20 years. Family and friends are welcome for visitation Sunday, October 3 from 12:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. A recitation of the Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. in ELK GROVE FUNERAL CHAPEL 9101 Elk Grove Blvd. in Elk Grove, 686-1888; and are invited to attend the Funeral Mass Monday, October 4 at 10:30 a.m. in ST. JOSEPH'S CHAPEL AT ST. MARY'S CEMETERY, 6700 21st Ave. Sacramento. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
