Helen and Glen were old neighbors of ours while growing up on NOrth Park Dr. We will always remember their genuine beings, with their sincerity and kindness. Helen was so soft spoken, and with her midwestern drawl, melt one's heart as she would talk speaking in gentle tones. We have missed the Bacons, on North Park Dr. The infamous 4th of July parade is still continues on. We miss the barbeques that were held on the Bacon's front yard. My own aging father, age 84 still lives across the street from the Bacon's old house. I still refer to the house as being the Bacon's house, even though, two families have lived in the house, since Helen moved to Citrus Heights. We miss Helen and her husband. They were 'salt of the earth' sort of people whose gentle beings are what is missing in todays age. God Bless the Bacon family.

I knew Glenn and Helen as Mr. and Mrs. Bacon. I was a child living on North Park Drive in Sacramento in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and they were our neighbors directly across the street. I have many fond memories of spending time with the Bacons and know that they are both deeply missed by friends and family.

Helen was a wonderful friend and a truly beautiful person, both inside and out. She never had an unkind word to say about anyone and was a role model for me and many others for having a positive and joyful outlook on life. She will be missed!!!
