Danny Tietjen Obituary
TIETJEN, Sr., Danny Carsten
Born December 23, 1946 and taken from us on August 8, 2008. Danny is survived by his loving wife of 28 1/2 years, Sandra Tietjen, his children and their spouses, Anthony (Kim); MelLisa (Cosme); Rachel (Brian); Joshua (Daisy). Also survived by three sisters, Joan, Betty, Marty and his brother-in-law Mike. Danny was Papa to 22 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and had many other family and friends. Danny left us and went to join his parents Joseph and Elizabeth Tietjen and his son David in heaven, until the day we are together again. Danny was a husband; father; brother; hunter; fisherman and a friend to all who knew him. Danny will be missed more than words can say. A Memorial service will held on Friday, August 15, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95838.

i knew him as danny boone. ill never forget all the times he hunted with my dad and i. or all the funny stories my dad and him would tell. and all the fishing trips. i knew danny boone my whole life! my dad knew him for 20yrs plus. he is a great man! he is missed so much! we planned to get him a bear this year. josh will get one for you bud! i will see you again someday! love you! we miss you dearly!

I can't tell you how sorry I am I was unable to be there when you needed me. Danny was a kind and gentle man who loved his family more than any thing else in this world. His star in heaven will shine a little brighter because of those he left behind who loved him.

Danny Boone what can I say you remind me sooooo much of Uncle Joe.. I miss you I know when I've been home I haven't visited the rest of the family as I should have.. But know I love you and my heart goes out to Sandy and the rest of the family. But I know your not alone in your journey to the other side you have family waiting for you with open arms..

We wish you future happiness and the Loving Memories of a fine Husband, Father and Papa. We have shared the Love of our Granchildren Victoria and Elijah, and the Love and Respect of our Children Josh and Daisy. I am sure the memory of a Fine Grandfather, Husband and Father will be kept alive through them and the rest of the Family. I have known Danny many years and he is the greatest man ever!! He would do anything for anyone. He will be truly missed!!! I love his entire family and I am sorry for their loss.

I am so sorry to hear about Danny. He was such a nice man - give the shirt off his back. I have known him many many years. He used to live with my Uncle Bill Bisbee when he was young. He will be missed. Loved Danny and his family.

Danny was very special to me although I had not seen him in a long time. He got to see me before my dad seen me when I was first born. He was at the hospital with my parents when my mom was in labor. He also gave me a pie for my 1st birthday. I was told that I could not pronounce Tietjen so I called him TJ. I was given a raggedy ann & andy doll, I named the Andy doll, Danny. Danny, you will be missed. Some of you may not know who I am. I am Bill Bisbee's daugther, Pam. My mom, Delores also sends her love and sympathy.
