Norman A. READDY Sr.

October 23, 1920 - July 1, 2015 Norman A. Readdy, Sr., passed away peacefully on July 1st. He was 94 years young. Norman was born in Sacramento. He graduated Sacramento High School in 1938, and also the former Sacramento Junior College. He served honorably in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy Air force during WWII. Norman had a distinguished career with the Sacramento Police Department as a special investigator and highly regarded finger print specialist. After retirement from Sacramento PD, he had another career as an investigator for the County of Sacramento. Norman will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He always put his family first. He was predeceased by his beautiful wife Marcia of 64 years, and his lovely daughter, Lyn. Norman is survived by his daughter Aggie Keese (Bill) of Graeagle, son Norm, Jr. (Anita) of Sacramento, grandson Tucker Readdy and granddaughter Non Readdy (Amy). A private graveside service will be held at East Lawn Cemetery in Sacramento. A celebration of Norman's life will take place after the service.
