Antoinette passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by Bill Hughes her husband of 58 years; children Timothy, Michael and Karina; grandchildren Kristy, Amanda, and Jennavieve; great-grandchildren Shawn, Jessie and Mariah; brother Ralph; and sisters Caroline and Florence. She was preceded in death by her brother Jim and sister Mary.

Born in the Bronx, New York, her family relocated to Santa Clara County where she graduated from San Jose High School. She proudly held a court clerk position with Alameda County Superior Court during which she garnered many fond memories.
Antoinette was a very talented artist and longtime member of the Del Web Fine Arts Club through which she honed her talent and displayed her works of art. She loved to travel with her husband, friends or family far and wide, with frequent visits to local destinations such as San Francisco, Napa and Lake Tahoe. She enjoyed playing poker or mah jongg with friends, cultivating dear friendships.
Her terrific sense of humor, giving nature and love of life attracted many to her. She taught us about how to love, the importance of family, and to never give up. Antoinette was a great lady who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Association, breast cancer research.
