(nee Dimock)
Passed away on Sunday morning, December 16, 2012. Carol was the definition of goodness, calmness and kindness. She graced the lives of very many people.

She was born in Ely, Nevada, on September 28, 1947. Carol attended grammar school in Reno, NV and high school at El Camino HS in Sacramento, CA. She graduated from the University of California at Davis. She was employed early in her career as a social worker and probation officer in Kern and Fresno Counties. She married her husband, John J. Corcoran III, on June 22, 1974, and moved to Sacramento. Carol worked for the Employment Development Department and retired from state service as a Research Manager with the Demographic Research Section of the California Department of Finance. Retirement offered an opportunity to travel to many of the countries in Eastern Europe, where she had relatives. Carol's pastimes included knitting, water colors, cooking and generosity. She is survived by her husband, John.

A remembrance is planned for this coming spring.
