GORDON, David John
May 31, 1923 - Jan. 19, 2013
Dave grew up in Oakland, Ca. and was a proud 1948 graduate of Cal Berkeley.
It was in the Central European Theatre that Dave served as a Sergeant of the 101st Ordinance Depot Co., United States Army.
Most of Dave's business career was spent at Butler Mfg. Co. where he won many awards in sales and marketing. He also was VP of Marketing for Pascoe Steel.
In his retirement years, Dave was a dedicated volunteer in Bend, Ore, and most recently in Lincoln Hills where he served on the Advisory Board for the Lincoln Library, was a Schools' volunteer, and an avid civic leader.
This generous, kind and friendly spirit will be sorely missed especially by his wife, Betty; his son, Lance; granddaughter, Darcy; his sister, Carol Falgout; sister-in-law Velma Kennedy; and nieces: Cheryl McFarren, Lisa Leary, Kathleen Kennedy, Adrienne Cox, Donna Hoyler, Linda Bottero, Helen Rivas, Patricia and Margaret Hamilton and nephews 'Skip' and David Hamilton, and Gordon Falgout.
Donations in Dave's memory may be made to the Friends of the Lincoln Library, Lincoln, Ca., or to a
