PUGH, Donald Avery
Passed on to be with his beloved wife Lola Mae. Don was born on January 22, 1919 in Denison, Iowa to John and Goldie Pugh. He was the oldest of seven children. He is survived by his sister Stella Deal, daughters Debra Legasse of Sacramento, Donna Estrem of Duluth, MN, Nancy Babayco (David) of Sacramento, 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He battled overseas in the U.S. Coast Guard in WWII. He was an active member of VFW, Odd Fellows, Improved Order Redman, Moose Lodges, Eagles, Masonic Lodges, and Shriners. Don was an involved member of First Christian Church. He was a blood donor for many years and loved gardening. Family and friends are welcome to attend Visitation on Thursday, April 25th from 4-8pm at Andrews & Greilich Mortuary, 3939 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento, and Funeral Services on Friday, April 26th at 10am in the chapel of East Lawn Memorial Park, 4300 Folsom Blvd., Sacramento. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to or Shriners Hospital.
