PELZMAN, Esther B.

Born in Sheridan, Wyoming November 26, 1917. Esther B. Pelzman went peacefully home to her Lord on June 19, 2014. Esther left behind her sister, Nancy Daniels, a Sister of Mercy; 5 children, Marynelle, James (Ann), Rudy (Patty), John (Linda) and Charles; 6 grandsons and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph P. Pelzman, Sr.; and one of her grandsons, Mark Lewis.

Esther liked music and sang in her church choir. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, oil painting, attending Ashland's Shakespeare Festival, and going on day trips. She had a lifelong love of books and reading. At one time Esther was involved with the VFW through her husband.

For a time, Esther lived at Stanford Home. She attended St. Joseph's Academy, graduated from Sacramento High School in 1935. Although Esther was a homemaker for most of her life, she did work selling Watkins Products, Fuller Brush Products, then working for the U.S. Postal Service first in Repressa, then in Folsom.

Esther was a woman of great faith. Visitation will be held from 4pm-6pm on Wed., June 25, followed by a Rosary from 6-8pm at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd., Roseville, CA. A Funeral Mass will be held Thurs, June 26 at 10 AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, in Roseville, CA. A graveside service will follow at 11:30am. For more information.
