Frank Leroy GREEN


GREEN, Frank Leroy
Born August 24, 1937 in Salt Lake City Utah, passed away January 19, 2014 in Las Vegas Nevada. Frank lived in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, then California growing up. Attended Chico High School, graduated from Sac High. Joined the Air Force in March of 1956, he was discharged Nov. 1959 doing radar repair. After Military service he became a licensed Beautician and was a Barber for 3 years. Employed by Dept of Defense doing air defense weapons testing for the Navy. Retired with 29 years of service. Lived and worked in California, New Mexico, Arizona, Germany, finally settling in Las Vegas Nevada in 1992 repairing slot machines and cameras. Frank was a very creative guy, enjoying beer making, photgraphy, camera repair, fixing, designing or repairing anything electrical and/or mechanical as well as spending time with his wife and dogs.
Frank was preceded in death by his 1st wife Melba, 2nd wife Carolanne, father Marion (Tex) Green, mother Hattie (Liz) Green, sister Deloris (Del) Green, brother John Green. Survived by sister Carol (Toby) Cook, nephews Ron Cook, Travis Green, Eric (Michelle) Green and niece Lorna (John) Walenshcka, sisters-in-law Carol Green, Annette Johnson. Frank was a loving husband and will be missed by all.
