Howard Charles Newman, 'Bump' passed away on December 30, 2012. He had been fighting illness for a short period of time. Bump was born in Los Angeles, California, on August 5, 1927. He spent his childhood in Woodland, California with his parents and his three brothers, Gene, Bush and Chuck, and his only sister, 'Sis' - Ethel Reeves. In 1951, he was drafted into the Army and served his country for a tour of duty in Korea. He enjoyed old cars, and his pride and joy was his 1956 Cameo Pick-up. Bump was a stubborn, yet loveable man. When Bump surrendered his driver's license for good, he could be seen visiting the neighbors on his riding lawnmower. Bump is survived by his wife of 59 and a half years: Arlene Newman, their children: Lori Pinson, and her husband Darrell; Richard Newman; and Mark Newman and his wife, Renee. He is also loved and cherished by his 9 grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 1:00 P.M., at Sunset Lawn, Chapel of the Chimes,
