Pastor Robinson was the founder of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church, where he pastored for 13 years, after which he merged with Greater Hill Zion and pastored both flocks for over 16 years. He leaves to cherish his memory, dedicated wife Juanita Yvonne Robinson, loving father of Pamela Kay Robinson, Evangelist Lenatte (Bishop John) Blouin, Janice Marie Robinson Hunt, Rev. James A. Robinson Jr. and Robin Lynn Robinson, loving brother of Catherine and Helen Robinson, six grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a host of in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, church family and friends. Friends are welcome for visitation on Monday, 10/15/2012, 4-7pm at Morgan Jones Chapel of Chimes, 4200 Broadway. Celebration of his life on Tuesday, 10/16/2012, at 10:00am at Greater Hill Zion Church, 4171 Soledad Ave. Interment Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.
