Joseph "Joe" Brennan

Joseph "Joe" Brennan passed away on June 19th 2014 at the age of 87. He was born July 2nd 1927 to Joseph John Brennan and Amy Ruth Algeo and was raised in Nicholas,CA. He left to join the navy serving as a radioman during WWII, he worked for the post office and then joined the CHP which he made his career. After retiring from the CHP he returned to sutter county and started a ranch in Pleasant Grove, CA which turned out to be his real passion. He enjoyed traveling, being active in the community, his family, and a hard days work on the ranch. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his 1st wife Evelyn and their three children: Diane, John, and Robert. Also by his loving 2nd wife Liliane as well as 3 step children: Jenny, Ralph, and Richard, 13 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. He will be layed to rest with military honors by Lambert Funeral Home at the cemetery in Pleasant Grove, CA on Howsley Rd. at 10:30am on June 26th 2014. With the reception to immediately follow at the Pleasant Grove Fire Dept. at 3100 Howsley Rd. Pleasant Grove, CA 95668.
