After a 5 year struggle with Alzheimer's, Marge at age 82, entered into eternal peace on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Valle Verde Care Home IV in Pleasanton, CA. Marge was born in Cedar City Utah, August 17, 1930 to Francis and Evelyn Webster. She was the oldest living daughter and had three younger brothers. She graduated from University of Southern Utah in Home Economics and later went on to finish her Master's Degree at Laverne University Southern California in Nutrition and Counseling. She taught Home Economics at the high school level and Nutrition at the college level. She married Daniel Nelson and they had 4 daughters. The majority of their family years together were spent in Rancho Cordova, CA. Marge taught her daughters the values of home economics, nutrition, and love of family. Later in life, Marge married Alvin Svendsen. Marge had a beautiful operatic soprano voice and loved singing all the time. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking, knitting, and gardening. Her most cherished moments were the frequent times she spent with her children and grandchildren. Marge was known for her loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She touched the lives of many people for good, and will be missed by all. She was predeceased by her husband Alvin Svendsen, her infant sister Rose Marie Webster, and her brother Francis Webster. She leaves precious memories to be cherished by her; sister-in-law Carolann Webster, loving brother Richard Webster (deceased wife Helen), brother Daniel Webster and wife Jan; daughter, Evelyn and husband Stephen Kempton, daughter Sheila and husband Gary Gleave, daughter Melanie Seither, and daughter Rose Marie and husband Vern Thornton; 20 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. Friends are welcome for visitation Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 from 4-8PM at PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (6335 Sunrise Blvd., 725-2109) and are invited to attend services Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 at 10AM at the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS (2400 Cordova Lane, Rancho Cordova).
