RODRIGUEZ, Vanessa A.

Vanessa Anita Rodriguez was born in Sacramento April 29, 1985. She passed away on November 2, 2012. Vanessa was active in recreational sports during most of her young life with soccer and basketball. Her school teams were: Leonardo da Vinci, C.K. McClatcby High School, and Sacramento City College. She also was a member of the Land Park Soccer Club. She enjoyed dancing, art, nature, and expressing creativity through her actions; whether it be painting, reading, or finding love through food. Her energy and joy of life radiated within her soul and shined through her beautiful smile. Vanessa left a wonderful and lasting impression of love with those who knew her and strangers alike. Her desire to help others guided her line of work in veteran's affairs, as well as her apprenticeship as a Reiki health practitioner.

Her spirit is survived by her parents, Joe and Silvia Rodriguez; her siblings, Ben, Victoria, and Marcos; her twin sister, Yvonne; Grandparents, Antonio, Maria, and Lupe, as well as all her aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. May her soul rest in peace. Funeral Mass will be on Sat. Dec. 1, St. Rose Church @ 1pm. 5961 Franklin Blvd. Reception following 3-6pm @ Elk's Lodge #6. 6446 Riverside Blvd. Burial will be Mon., Dec. 3rd @ 11am, Fair Oaks Cemetery, 7780 Olive St. Fair Oaks, CA.
