Evelyn Green Obituary

Evelyn Ruth Green 11/18/37 Passed at home resting peacfully with dignity and pride surrounded by strong love 7/22/2011. A woman who was strong minded and dedicated to her man, a true friend and Mom to many. A woman whose convictions were not up for debate and was OK with telling you to go ---- yourself. She was the first woman Teamster in Northern Ca. pioneering the road for women working in a man's world driving big rigs in the early 60's, operating heavy equipment and running construction sites all with hard earned respect. Donations can be sent in her memory to her favorite charity (Animal shelter) Little Rascals, P.O.Box 227, Drumright, OK. 74030 918-352-9231 No Services.
