Joanne J. Mendonca

In Loving Memory of Joanne L. Mendonca (Cole) 82, of Thornton California, passed away on January 8, 2012. Joanne was born in Sacramento to Melvin B. and Beatrice E. Scott on September 12, 1930. She went to High School at Lodi Academy, Yuba College for AA degree, then onto Chico State where she got her Masters in Business and a teaching degree. She was a College Professor for 22yrs teaching at Chico State, Gavilan Jr. College in Gilroy and then Sacramento City College. She was also a Tax Consultant and EA for IRS. Joanne loved traveling and studying and performing music and played both piano and organ and played at one time for some local churches. Joanne is preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Beatrice, brothers Glenn, Leslie and Dennis Scott. Also, youngest son Douglas Snyder. Joanne is survived by sister Barbara (Lonnie) Lang, son Delane Snyder, daughter Cynthia (Jean) Chevrier, grandson Timothy and Billy Snyder and grandaughter Elise Chevrier.
