Paul was always warm and quick with a story. I worked with him for a few years before he retired at KCRA. Wonderful man. Rest in peace Paul.

I forgot to mention in my earlier signing how Paul and I always distinguished our communications, that I will miss, by saying Paul B. and Paul D. Amazing how little things like this bring back so many precious memories. He will be missed by so many of his friends back here in Nashville.

I was a classmate of Paul, graduating in 1949 with him from North Nashville High School in Nashville, TN. I enjoyed Paul's last visit to Nashville in 2009 in celebration of our 1949 class 60th reunion. His friends, which are many here, grieve his sudden death and remember his beautiful bird pictures. I think his visits to his favorite bird sanctuary and making photos there was a highlight of his life and he enjoyed sharing his photos, one of which I have to remember him by on my den wall. So long, my good friend and fellow classmate!

I worked with Paul at KCRA between 1972 and 1988. A very professional man, dedicated to doing the best in his work, I admired that in him. In these last few years, we have enjoyed conversations about photography at the Broadcast Valley Legends. My sister was a wildlife rehabber...and I shared some of Paul photos from Facebook with Kathy. Always so vibrant, big smile on his face - I cannot believe he is gone from us here. He will be missed by so many. Our deepest condolences to all of you who have lost a part of your heart. Sue Peppers
