So much time has past, yet you remain forever fresh in my memory. Our times with the Tyrolean Ski Club in San Bernardino and the Fagowees Ski Club in Sacramento will always be treasured. Thanks, too, for being one of my groomsmen at my wedding. You were truly one of a kind. RIP, my friend...

Al... Last weekend you were in many people's thoughts. The former members of the Tyrolean Ski Club hosted a 50-year reunion. Nearly 100 people attended. You were in numerous photos from the '70s-era scrapbooks. In the photos we all look as though we were auditioning for roles on "The '70s" television show! You are missed by all...

We will miss Al as he was a very nice person and always willing to help in anyway he could especially fixing things. He was our resident mechanic on our trips to Lake Powell. He loved being outside. I will miss his wonderful letters at Christmas time as he always brought us up to date about his family and himself.
Our best to his family.

We will miss Al very much. A great friend for many years. He helped me teach my little brother to water ski by running down the beach with the line tied around himself! The Tyroleans will miss him.
My best to the family.

Al was my friend and coworker for over twenty years. We shared many work BQs together. He always knew a way to bypass all the red tape when it came to getting my computer back up and running. He always made me laugh, he was good at making me feel like laughing. Im going to miss him. My condolences to the Reeder family.

Al was a very special friend. He was always there to help out. Being a fellow Fagowee, Al played in many club stage performances, was an avid skier, a great motorcycle driver (I know, I rode behind him several times)he will be missed! I send my strength and heartfelt prayers to his family.

Al was a big teddy bear, who was my good friend for nearly 35 years. We first met in the early '70s when we were "party hard" skiers in the Tyrolean Ski club in Riverside, CA. We both then moved to Sacramento, where we were charter members of the Fagowees Ski Club. Al served both clubs in leadership positions. Not many people knew that under his gruff exterior was a heart of gold -- someone who treasured his friends. Not many knew that Al served his country as a medic in Vietnam. He will be missed. Our condolences to his mother and his siblings.

My most significant remembrance of you was when you were the leader of the motorcycle pack on a Fagowee event. I can see you riding that motorcycle in the sky!!

Al was a great friend of mine for the past 25+ years. We used to go skiing and play volleyball together. More recently, he's been coming to my family holiday dinners. He was always willing to help and very generous with his time. He really enjoyed visiting his mom and watching his grandson grow up. I will really miss him. My condolences to the Reeder family.

I knew Allen as a very young man at our church youth group, First Christian Church CYF, San Bernardino. He was always fun to be around and so very bright and witty. We have lost touch over the years but happy to hear he had a family and many friends. I am comforted that he is with our Lord.

For many years now, my family and I would enjoy visits with Allen at my cousin Eileen's home in Sacramento. Easter, Thanksgiving and get-togethers were all more enjoyable to us because of Al. He was a special friend and a great person, and will be greatly missed. Such a good hearted man will be rewarded greatly by the Lord. God bless you Allen. We will meet again.

I am very sad to hear of Al's passing. My condolences to all of Al's family. I know family was always in his thoughts. We had many discussions about clan matters and a possible future association. If any wish to contact me please do so.

To Gretchen, Zack, Mary, and other family members.
I feel great sadness at learning of Al's passing today. We've been friends for 38 years. He enjoyed life - cruises, going out with friends, or just hanging out - we played on the same volleyball teams through the years. He sat at the front table with me as the honored guest at my retirement luncheon in Dec. 07 because he was the first person I met and worked with at DMV. I'm so glad I have him on video with his witty and comical remarks to remember. What I will remember most in his latter years is that he doted on Gretchen and Zack - spoke so highly of them. And he had the utmost respect and admiration for his mother. We always managed to e-mail one another and stay in touch over the years, and the last was in early August. I will truly miss this guy!
