Alfred DUKESHIRE Obituary
DUKESHIRE, Alfred D.
Born in Long Beach, CA, August 2, 1942, and passed away on February 8, 2012 after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer at home. Preceded in death by parents Lawrence and Gladys Dukeshire, his sister Laura Pruitt, his granddaughter Stephanie McNealy and his first wife Franci. He is survived by his loving wife Donna Dukeshire (Shirey) of seven and half years, and his children Donald Dukeshire of Laguna Niguel, CA, Loreli Jessee (John) of Pulmas Lake, CA, and Sandra McNealy (Michael) of Wilton, CA; nine grandchildren, one great grandson and one sister Phyllis Burt (Randy). He leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews. He graduated from Sacramento High School in 1960. After 38 years with California Transportation he retired to enjoy working on his Model A, traveling and spending time at his second home in Crescent City, CA with his beloved wife. Alfred loved life and anything to do with transportation. He will be missed by his friends and family. He was a member of the Sacramento Capital A's Club, the Model A Ford Club of America, California Automobile Museum, the Railroad Museum and a lifetime member of the Sacramento Zoo. There will be no services, but donations will be appreciated to the California Automobile Museum or the Sacramento Zoo.
