Candace Magovac Obituary

Candace Marie Magovac has gone to be with our Father in Heaven on December 1, 2011 in Sacramento. A graduate of Loretto High School and former student of CSUS, Candace was a youthful spirit with a passion for life. Singing, cheerleading, and modeling are amongst many things she enjoyed. She is survived by her loving father Jon Magovac, older sister Kristina Magovac , Uncle Emil Magovac, Cousin Marek Hastings, Great Aunt Dorthy Grosvenor, Cousins Kraig, Lauren and Taylor Vilger and many countless friends that were dear to her. She spent the past year of her life surrounded by her loving boyfriend Jerome Mathews Jr. and his family. Please join the family for a celebration of her life on Saturday December 10, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Sacramento 2324 L Street Sacramento CA, 95816 at 11:00am.

To Kristina and the Magovac family,
I am so incredibly sorry for the loss of your sister and daughter. There are no words to make this better. I lost my sister almost four years ago and I took great comfort in knowing that she is in a much greater place than she could have ever found here on earth. I hope that you find peace, love, and comfort amongst each other in this very tragic time.
With all my prayers,
Stephanie Duriez

Jon, Kristina, Kimberly and Family
My heart aches for you all.
With the loss of your beloved daughter and sister.
A bright and shiny star went home to the Father above way to soon.
I pray His prefect peace for each one of you. That He would wrap His love, grace and mercy upon you as you mourn the loss of your beloved Candance.
She will be greatly missed.
I still see this precious little girl running and playing with her sister and my daughters at the auction.
The laughter and joy of the children playing on this huge playground and the ramlbing house.
Her bright blue yese beaming.
I cannot find the words to express my heart felt sorrow.
You each are in my prayers and love.
God bless
A candle gone too sonn.
Love and Prayers Beth Hernandez and Family

Jon,Kristina & Kimberly my heart is deeply sadden by the loss of your beloved Candace I just cant belive that she has left you and all of us, she will be deeply missed. God bless you and your entire family. She is with God now and He has added one more beautiful angel to His kingdom. I have known the entire Magovac family for over 45 years. Jon and his family have been family to me; all my life. I to feel the deep loss as I feel I have lost a family member as well. Candace and Kristina have always called me Uncle Dave and that always warmed my heart. Now it is broken. Jon just want you to know that you are my brother and always will be. Kristina I cant imgaine how it is to loose a sister but I hope in time that God can heal your heart. I want you to know that I love you very very much! I feel your pain; Candace will always be in my heart as well as in my prayers. So will your entire family. There is alot more I can say because of our past. But all in all you know how much I love you all in closeing; may in time you find peace and happiness in your lives because Candace would want that God bless you all with sincere and deep love. My dear Candace, you had a passion for life, a love for people, and a caring spirit that was so unique. I've known you since you were just a baby, you soon became like a daughter to me. We had a very special connection. I miss the way you would run and just about knock me over with your hugs every time you saw me, I miss our heart to heart talks in good times and in hard times, right up till just 3 days before you passed. I still have the cheerful happy Thanksgiving voicemail you left me just before I called you back on Thanksgiving morning! I keep going over our conversations, texts, & FB posts to eachother, I'm heartbroken. You were the first person I saw when I came out of the OR after the transplant last year, you were there at my wedding waiting to give me one of your special hugs. You and Jerome were supposed to come over for Christmas this year. I know there is a reason and season for everything and its all apart of God's plan and His timing; I am so thankful to have been apart of your life, thankful to have been your "mommy Janiah"... And thankful to Jerome and his family for showing you love. Love you always Candace Marie Magovac - RIP!
