Born January 7, 1937 in Woodland, CA. Passed away June 7, 2012 in Sacramento, CA. Loving husband for 55 years to Irene. Proud father to Dale Jr. (Theresa), Jeff, Renae, and Stephen (Karen). Adored 'Poppie' of Michael, Brittany, Joey, Alexandria, Sam, Alicia, Stephanie, Emily, and Morgan. Great-grandfather of Brynn, Emma, Jackson 'Bubba,' and Gena. Special brother of Daniel Sr. (Linda). He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Peggy, and his sister, Jodean. He retired from the City of Sacramento after 40 years of service. Dale was the first manager of Fairytale Town, the first Golf Manager for the City of Sacramento, and a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. He was an avid outdoorsman and a member of the Cortina Duck Club for many years. He will be sadly missed. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 11:00AM at George L. Klumpp Chapel of Flowers, 2691 Riverside Blvd., Sacramento, CA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Shriner's Children Hospital.
