Dennis DAVIS Obituary
DAVIS, Sr., Major Dennis E.
Of Elk Grove passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at age 54, after a long battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He is survived by his mother Geneva, his two brothers Baron and Scott, and his wife and three children: Shawna, Jessica, Dennis Jr. and Joshua. Dennis was born in Stanley, North Carolina on October 7, 1958 to Geneva and William Davis and is the oldest of 3 boys. He attended North Carolina A&T and received a Master's of Science in Industrial Education. He entered the US ARMY as an Officer upon graduation. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, November 15 at Morgan Jones Funeral Home.

Truly a wonderful friend and I also have many fond memories of growing up with Dennis in Stanley. May God grant you peace and understanding as you go through this valley. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I grew up with Dennis in Stanley and played sports with him as we grew up. He was always a great guy. Always upbeat and positive. I've been in Northern CA since 1987. I would like to have seen him again. I have nothing but positive memories of him.

Dear Family I know that your heart is heavy and there is a empty hole, but I know Dennis left us all with a lot of beautiful memories and I know he is in heaven singing with the angels and my mother Stacy Kee who past in July. God picked the cream of the crop to call home. May Dennis rest in piece and GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
