Condolences to Dennis's family. I remember him well while at Sacramento State. We would often go to Oakland together and eat the best Chinese food. I often think of him and Liz. He will be missed.

Sad to hear this news late...... had lost touch with Dennis and the Yep family long ago, but I remember staying at the family home, working summer in Sacramento painting family owned apartments and teenage goof-offs with Dennis. Happy to hear of what a productive life he had and the many good friends he developed.

You were a brilliant producer and director. I enjoyed working on several events with you and your family. Thank you for being a part of Best of Broadway and Broadway Playhouse, which I ended up serving as Publicist. Sacramento lost your talent when you moved to the Bay Area. Now, you are gone too soon. May you rest in peace.

Dennis was a great person from an even greater family. He and I were both classmates and musicians in all the performing venues including church and school choirs, school bands and on the stage in school musical productions. His mother, Mrs. Yep was youth choirmaster for more than 10 years at First Methodist in Vallejo. She organized, directed and most of all MOTIVATED a rag-tag bunch of kids into an honored and respected choir often featured at choral festivals throughout Northern California. Her inspiration instilled a love of music not only in her talented family; but, also in her surrogate children in the choir. Dennis was also the Drum Major of the Vallejo High School Band for the 1966 year. He and I took charge of the band during the Band master's absence while recuperating. The legacy of the YEP family in Vallejo is still honored and revered. I shall light a candle for him and his parents that our Lord will welcome him into His eternal family. AMEN!

Dennis produced theater at my Theater space on 25th and R for a number of years. He was gracious to his actors and his company was the only Asian Theater company serving our city. I will never forget his wonderful children and the family feeling he brought to theater community.

Our family knew Dennis, his parents, and sisters, through our participation with them in choir at the First Methodist Church in Vallejo, and youth groups at that church. Such a gifted, loving, and caring family! Sincere condolences to his family.

My husband and I had been acquainted with both Dennis, his sister and mom when they did not only our tax preparation for many years, but also my husbands' parents. He was truly a kind and gracious man. Keeping the Yep family in our thoughts and prayers.
