Elisabeth is already missed. As I read the other messages I felt sad that we had not known this wonderful person longer. We met Elisabeth at Easter's Book Store last year and liked her in and instant. We, my husband and I invited her the Merton group and the rest was history. It was like you knew her forever. She was so gentle and kind that one was instantly drawn to her. When I last spoke with her she was speaking of her grandchildren spending the night. How she loved those children. My heart goes out to all of her family at this time. However, she will always be with you in spirit. What a wonderful mother, sister, grand-mother,aunt,friend we have all been blessed in knowing this precious person.Margaret
At the last Merton meeting the Wed before she passed,I had loaned her a book that I thought she might be interested in;a book on the spirituality of Jung and Teresa of Avila. She stated that she would like to peruse, but as she had other commitments would not be able to attend to it in the near future. I advised her to just keep it as long as needed. She also stated that she would be going to the hospital within a days. Our conversation at Easter's covered her trip to Esalen in Big Sur which she thorourghly enjoyed -one week of reviewing film and analyzing. A great lady.Normand

Elisabeth and I shared rich times, stories and friendship across a long-running consultation group, the board of the Spiritual Life Institute, and classes we taught on the spirituality of aging. Gentle, perceptive, intuitive, self-trusting, soulful and independent, I miss her. I still find myself planning to call her to partner in another plan or project. I wish I could. Continue your work, Elisabeth. I'll look forward to discussing all this with you when we meet again.

Had the pleasure of reading and studying Faust with Elisabeth and a small group of classically inclined readers. She was most gracious and knowledgable and the sessions at her house were legendary She is part of a very fond memory.

Knowing Elisabeth has changed my life forever. She will always be with me in my heart and I will always be a better person having had the honor to spend so much time with her over the past 6 years. I still love her and always will. She is a beautiful soul and her spirit lives on.
