Fred William Williams was born October 15th, 1951 and passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 25th, 2014. He was 62 years old. Fred was born in Sacramento, California. He graduated from Norte Del Rio High School in 1969. He joined the Air Force in 1971 and served his country for three years. He then went on to graduate from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honors in Criminal Justice. He worked from 1982 to 2008 as a Senior Special Investigator with the California Horse Racing Board. He is preceded by his father Fred, his mother Dollie, and his brother Larry. Fred was intensely loved by all those who knew him. He was the most spirited and compassionate person anyone could ever hope to meet. He was always so carefree and full of joy. He leaves behind his son, Travis, brother, Sid, nephew, Little Fred, step-son, Ethan, and aunt, Ruby, along with so many other friends and family. Per Fred's request, there will be no memorial service. Your passing came so suddenly and it is still so hard to fathom a place in which you are not a part of any longer. You will always be remembered. You will always be my father, my mentor, my best friend. I love you, dad. If you wish to share a memory you've had with Fred, you can do so at the following website:
