BRYOVICH, George
Passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at the age of 87 years at Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson. George was born on April 29, 1925 in Jackson, CA to Steve and Saveta Bryovich. His parents passed away when George was young, at age 7 he was taken in by Anna Soso and her family. George attended schools in Jackson, graduating from Jackson High School. He then joined the U.S. Navy with his good friend, Evo Vasilovich. They served four years together aboard ship. George married the love of his life, Inez 'Billie' Lunsford on October 1, 1950 at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in Jackson. They were married 59 wonderful years and enjoyed a very full life together. George was a very successful businessman, having at one time owned the National Hotel in Jackson at a very young age. He owned many of his own businesses: Amador Plumbing with Bob Ohls, Amador Mechanical with Mervin Vicini and GB Development with his wife. His retirement years were spent playing golf with good friends, traveling to Hawaii every year, being with his family, and he was an avid hunter.

George was preceded in death by his wife, Billie; sisters, Milka Soso, Mary Lorenson and her son, Loren Butch Lorenson; brothers, John Soso, and Mitchell Soso. He is survived by his niece, Nicole Armstrong and her husband, David, their children, Dustin and Lauren; niece, Kristin Himmelmann and her husband, Jeffrey, their children, Sadie and Tess; nieces, Carol Woolsey, Susan Gutzman; nephews, Steven Soso, Randy Soso, Michael Soso, Tom Soso, Ned Soso; and numerous great-nephews and great-nieces. Friends are invited to attend a visitation Wednesday, November 14 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 P.M. at Daneri Mortuary Chapel in Jackson.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 15 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in Jackson. Interment will be in the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cemetery in Jackson.
