A Sacramento resident for 99 years, passed away Saturday November 3rd with family at her side. Born July 12th, 1913, Jerry, as family and friends knew her, lived an eventful and fulfilling life. She worked for the Dept. of Social Welfare for 38 years and was heavily involved with CSEA. She belonged to many social clubs and was a devoted long time member of The Cyclets. She enjoyed her many travels whether it be to Europe or just a little road trip. What brought her the most joy was when all her family gathered together. Jerry is survived by her daughters Gerin (Lew) Pebbles and Lynne (Elling) Gilbertson; her granddaughters Lori (Danny) Sarracino, Shelley Gilbertson, Jill (Steve) Kennedy and Marti Gilbertson; her great grandchildren Scott (Alissa) Gilbertson, Megan (Garret) Gilbertson, Sydney Kennedy, Michelle and James; and her great great grandson Nathaniel Gilbertson along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert Sr. and Elizabeth Carstairs; her siblings Mae (Gus) Schultz and Robert Jr. (Rose) Carstairs; and her grandsons Scott Gilbertson and Bradley Pebbles. All of whom she loved dearly. The family wishes to thank all the health care providers who assisted in taking care of her. Funeral services will be held at 11:00, Monday, November 12th at Harry A. Nauman and Son, 4041 Freeport Blvd., Sacramento. Interment at Odd Fellows Cemetery, 2027 Riverside Blvd., Sacramento.
