 Born October 27, 1941 in Trenton, New Jersey and passed November 7, 2012 in Sacramento, California. She is survived by her devoted husband, Earl, and children Sandy, Darnel, Felicia, and Kenny (Tracy); her grandchildren Earl, Shamika, Shafik, Shakeia, Ernest, Elijah, Kinny and Tiaura; her great grandchildren Nayana, King Dapree, and Amir. She was preceded in death by sons Del Rico and Earl; grandson Dapree. Joan will be greatly missed by her family, friends and everyone she touched. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, November 15th at 11 am. Shiloh Baptist Church, 3265 9th Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95817
